MR. D.I.Y. Joins Forces with the Ministry of Commerce to Support the “United Thais, Reviving the South”, Donating More Than 15,000 Essential Cleaning Supplies Worth Over THB 1.6 Million
Bangkok – 9 December 2025 – MR. D.I.Y. Holding (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a leading home improvement and lifestyle retailer, led by Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing Department, along with employee representatives, joined forces with the Ministry of Commerce through the “United Thais, Reviving the South” initiative to provide relief to households affected by the recent floods in Southern Thailand. The company donated more than 15,000 essential cleaning supplies from MR. D.I.Y. stores, with a total value of over THB 1.6 million. The donation was received by Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Minister of Commerce.
Mr. Arnupharp Kongmalai, Vice President of Marketing Department, stated that “Throughout the recent flooding in Southern Thailand, we have closely monitored the situation and provided ongoing support. Although the situation has now improved and communities have entered the recovery phase, MR. D.I.Y., under the MR. D.I.Y. Cares program is joining hands with the Ministry of Commerce through the “United Thais, Reviving the South” to donate more than 15,000 essential cleaning supplies from MR. D.I.Y. stores, including mops, scrubbing brushes, brooms and dustpan sets, lubricant and anti-rust spray, paint rollers, waterproof repair tape, and other necessary tools with a total value of over THB 1.6 million. We aim to help communities in the southern region affected by the floods by easing the unavoidable expenses households face during home restoration. Furthermore, this is part of MR. D.I.Y. Thailand's mission to create shared value with Thai society. We hope this support will encourage Southern communities as they rebuild and return to their daily lives with strength.”
