The Company is committed to driving its business and operations with consideration for the environment, society, and good governance. The Company also intends to align its operations with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote sustainable and ethical growth, and to contribute to the development of the economy, society, quality of life for people, natural resources, and the environment.

1. Environmental development: The Company is committed to conducting environmentally friendly business operations and considering the impact on the environment by focusing on every step of its operations as follows:

  1. Promote energy conservation and efficiency through the solar cell project.
  2. Reduce the use of cardboard boxes in storage and transportation and decrease the use of office materials and equipment by reusing or recycling them.
  3. Inspect vehicles used for product transportation to ensure they are in good working condition to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Social development: The Company is committed to creating stability for society and communities, developing the skills and capability of employees to foster quality individuals for society, and creating jobs, careers, and distributing income to communities to build a sustainable society as follows:

  1. Collaborating with communities, schools, and government agencies in various activities to foster participation and enhance the living environment of the community.
  2. Providing products and donations to various foundations to fund their operations in aiding society.
  3. Providing continuous training for personnel development within the organization to promote capabilities and elevate the work quality of employees.
  4. Ensuring that employees receive benefits, safety, and hygiene in the workplace to enhance job satisfaction.
  5. Supporting and abiding by the protection of human rights, treating employees equally and fairly, promoting the employment of local labor, disadvantaged individuals, and persons with disabilities, and avoiding discrimination based on difference in race, religion, gender, age, education, beliefs, or any other differences.

3. Good governance: The Company is committed to managing its business in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance to sustainably develop and expand the business as follows.

  1. Conducting business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  2. Establishing and implementing key policies to guide transparent and ethical business operations, considering the benefits to the Company and shareholders, and addressing the interests of stakeholders through key policies such as the Corporate Governance Policy, the Code of Business Ethics, the Anti-corruption Policy, the Insider Trading Prevention Policy, and information technology management.
  3. Instituting risk assessment and response mechanisms to prevent impacts on the Company’s sustainability in economic, social, environmental, and governance aspects.

Sustainable Development Goals

To drive sustainable business growth while creating value and protecting the interests of all stakeholders, as well as fostering a sustainable future for communities, society, and the environment, the Company is committed to aligning its sustainable management with international standards. This commitment includes integrating relevant United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the Company's business operations and organizational management. The goals adopted by the Company include Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities. The Company has outlined the following strategies to promote and achieve these goals.

No Poverty

The Company has contributed to generating income for society and communities in alignment with its goal to reduce poverty, both economically and in other dimensions. As of July 31, 2024, the Group has employed over 11,807 people in Thailand and has provided job opportunities to individuals in communities near MR. D.I.Y. stores across 74 provinces in Thailand, with more than 4,829 local community members were hired.

The Company has conducted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for over five consecutive years under the name "MR. D.I.Y. Cares" to contribute to the support and enhancement of health, well-being, and welfare within society. This includes investing in the expansion of its business to all 77 provinces across Thailand to help distribute income to local communities.
